Reward Offered for Capital Murder Fugitive

HOUSTON, TX - Crime Stoppers and investigators with the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division held a news conference Thursday to solicit the public's assistance locating Suspect Anthony Johnson. Johnson is charged in the December Capital Murder of Jawon Carson.

35 year old Jawon Carson was found on December 13, 2013, under a bridge located on the 4500 block of Richey Road, after being shot in his home. During the course of an extensive police investigation investigators with the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division located the vehicle used during the Murder and the dumping of the complainant's body. After thorough investigation Anthony "Yolie" Johnson was identified as the suspect responsible, and was subsequently charged with Capital Murder.

The family of the deceased joined with Crime Stoppers of Houston, and Houston Police investigators, to plea for the public's assistance locating the wanted fugitive. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for any information leading to the suspect's arrest.
