Rice Shows Rubik's Cube Mosaic of Nelson Mandela

HOUSTON (AP) Rice University is marking Black History Month by displaying a Rubik's Cube mosaic of former South African president and anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela.

The 3.75-by-5.5-foot mosaic was created by the Rice Cube Club of members of the university's Jones Graduate School of Business. It comprises 600 cube puzzles borrowed from the makers of the Rubik's Cube. It's on display in Rice Public Art's pop-up gallery in the first-floor lobby of the BioScience Research Collaborative.

February is Black History Month.
