One last round of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms is possible in the Brazos Valley through midnight. A few storms could be strong to severe, with damaging winds & hail being a concern. An isolated, brief tornado threat cannot be ruled out. Highest potential for severe weather is over the Northeastern Corner of the Brazos Valley.
Texas is full of talent. Now, a young woman has the opportunity to be the next 'American Idol.'
Amber Holcomb, 18 years old, is a recent graduate of Shepherd High School in San Jacinto County near Houston. Now she is one of the top ten finalists for 'American Idol.'
This isn't Holcomb's first run on the popular show. She made it all the way to Las Vegas last year before she was cut from the competition.
Holcomb is holding strong on the show, but could use a little help with votes on the 'Idol' website. You can watch her perform Wednesday and Thursday nights on the FOX show.
