A fire started in a rural area west of Bryan off FM 50 Monday afternoon.
Precinct 4 fire officials say a farmer's barn full of various materials caught fire around 6 p.m.
Several fire departments assisted in putting out the fire including tanker trucks from Cooks Point and Hearne.
No other structures were involved and no one was hurt.
