WASHINGTON COUNTY - Three adults have been charged with child endangerment and criminal negligence in Washington County.
That's according to Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak, who says two Brenham women and a man from Somerville were arrested after an infant and three children were found by a Sergeant at the Regency Inn in deplorable conditions.
Investigators say the children were living in conditions with 8 cats living in a room. All of the children were removed by Child Protective Services when they were found on Friday, April 4th.
The Sheriff's Office says 36 year old Samantha Louise Kenny of Brenham was arrested at the hotel and arrest warrants were issued for the arrest of 37 year old Marilee Belle Brummitt of Brenham and 48 year old Timothy John Schaffer of Somerville. Brummitt and Schaffer were arrested a short time later.
