An incident that forced the shutdown of a College Station street ended with an arrest.

College Station authorities closed Mile Drive just off Highway 6 and Deacon Drive after responding to a report of shots fired around 11:35 a.m. Thursday.

Officers with guns drawn were seen walking around the area, and the entirety of Mile was closed off.

According to police, shots had been fired at an occupied vehicle.

In the end, 25-year-old Andrew Sausage of College Station was arrested by CSPD. According to police, Sausage has outstanding warrants out of Walker County for forgery and theft of property.

Police reports say Sausage fired a shotgun at a car while his ex-girlfriend, another man, and his 1-year old child were inside.

There are no reports of any injuries.
