"Snow" Forecasted for Post Oak Mall Re-opening

It may not be cold just yet, but "snow" is in the forecast this weekend at the Post Oak Mall in College Station.

It's all part of the Post Oak Mall's "Grand Celebration" of its massive renovation and to help the Brazos Valley Food Bank.

Starting this weekend, a snow machine will be in place at the mall as part of the festivities.

People are asked to donate food to fill the bed of an F-150. That food will then be driven to the food bank to feed the needy.

News 3's Shel Winkley will broadcast the weather live from the mall Friday on BVTM.

The special events begin Friday with "snow shows" every hour, on the hour at the Santa Set.

Saturday, student choirs will take the stage, a DJ will be there playing music and handing out prizes, and an ice carving demonstration.

Sunday brings with it more "snow shows" and the arrival of Santa Claus himself, starting at noon.
