Police continue to search for suspects, after two people were shot outside of a convenience store early Thursday morning.

The shooting happened at the Star Mart store at 3603 Zephyr Rd in Killeen just before midnight.

Killeen Police department spokeswoman Carroll Smith says a male driver in a white vehicle arrived at the store to pick up the store's attendant.

While waiting in the parking lot, three black males came up to the individual and robbed him. The men were dressed in all black and their faces were covered.

At some point, the attendant came out of the store and was robbed as well.

The driver and attendant were both shot.

The attendant was transported to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center.

He was later transferred to Scott & White where he is in stable condition.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

After the shooting, the three men took the victim's white vehicle.

The vehicle was located abandoned off Highland Ave. in Killen at approximately 12:30 a.m.

Killeen Police are currently searching for the suspects involved.
