CONROE Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 19 year old man in the shooting death of a popular Conroe convenience store owner.

Sam Sadruddin owned the Z-P Mart Shell in Conroe and was shot during a robbery early Tuesday morning.

Joseph Gutierrez is under arrest and charged with capital murder.

A 13 year old boy has also been detained as a person of interest.

Thursday about 3,000 people showed up to pay their respects to Sadruddin at his funeral.

His family has decided the community still needs the store and have decided to continue Sam's legacy.

The store was reopened Friday morning.
