BRYAN Authorities in Bryan have released the identity of the man they're seeking in the armed robbery of a pawn shop over the weekend.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Robert Brandon Guevara, who Bryan Police and the Brazos County Sheriff's Office believe fired multiple shots in the Cash America Pawn Shop on South Texas Avenue late Sunday afternoon.

None of the four employees and multiple customers in the store at the time were injured, and authorities say Guevara, 29, made off with merchandise and money. He was reportedly wearing dark clothing and a mask at the time.

Guevara is described as Hispanic, standing 5'10", weighing 275 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

A $500 reward is being offered by Brazos County Crime Stoppers for information that could lead to Guevara's arrest. That will be available through December 3. Tips to Crime Stoppers can be made anonymously. The number is (979) 775-TIPS (8477).

In addition, Cash America International is offering a $5,000 reward of its own.

You can also contact Bryan Police with information at (979) 209-5316.

Guevara is wanted on aggravated robbery and theft charges. He is not shown to have any previous charges in Brazos County, according to online records. However, due to the nature of his alleged crime, authorities urge caution if you come into contact with him.
