Suspect in Attempted Sexual Assault Now in Custody

Police now have a juvenile suspect in custody connected to an attempted sexual assault that happened Monday near the 500 block of Southwest Parkway.

The victim says she found a male in her residence early Monday morning who attempted to sexually assault her.

She said was able to fight him off.

The suspect ran away but was a later identified, found, and placed into custody on unrelated charges.

Because that suspect is a juvenile, authorities are not releasing his identity.
