GRIMES COUNTY - The man charged with the murder of a Grimes County Liquor Store owner back in 2009 has pleaded guilty to the crime.

22 year old Joshua Ragston was sentenced to 30 years in prison for his admitted role in the robbery and shooting death of Don Stolz.

Stolz was shot outside his store in Navasota - and no suspects were found until a 9-1-1 call in 2011 yielded a confession from a second man, now 28-year old Christopher Boulds.

His trial for murder is set for later this month.
