Burleson County The Burleson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion that happened on Sunday, October 13.
At 11 p.m., the sheriff's office received a 911 call from a resident on Woodlands Rd. in the Wilderness Sound subdivision that two male subjects had forced her into her home, taken an undisclosed amount of cash and a Taurus Judge revolver.
The female victim was not injured.
Sgt Gene Hermes, Deputy Pacer Lednicky, Deputy Cody Watson, DPS Trooper John Anderson and Birch Creek State Park Rangers responded to the residence and discovered the subjects had fled on foot through the woods behind the subdivision.
