T.J. Maxx Employee Arrested For Stealing From Store

A T.J. Maxx clerk is arrested for stealing from the store she worked at over a period of days in October.

College Station Police say 31-year-old Lama Sobhi Kassem stole $3,511.29 over a period of time including merchandise, cash and gift cards.

According to the police report a loss prevention officer was able to capture the thefts on store surveillance video.

She was taken into custody Friday.

Kassem was released from jail Saturday after posting $5,000 bond.
