TABOR, Texas We have an update to a story on a oilfield pipeline coming through our area we first told you about last week.
Gendron Homegrown Tomato Farm in Tabor had been fighting a lawsuit filed by BridgeTex Pipeline Company which is building a 20 inch crude oil pipeline from Colorado City to the Gulf Coast.
Patrick Gendron tells us they settled with the pipeline company Monday night after BridgeTex agreed to more concessions including not using herbicides along an easement and agreeing not to disturb an embankment which provides protection for the property.
The pipeline will impact about a quarter acre of their property along Zweifel Road.
A special commission would have decided the value of the agreement Tuesday had the Gendrons not signed an agreement.
