AUSTIN (December 12, 2013) U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is making enough of a splash in his first term that he’s already got his own coloring book, and just in time for the holidays.
The St. Louis company that’s offering the coloring bookfeaturing the tea party favorite said Thursday that the book is in its third printing in six days.
The first run of about 10,000 copies sold out in barely 24 hours, and the second went nearly as fast.
Cruz didn't cooperate with the production of the book book, which depicts the ardent Second Amendment supporter hunting, as well as his recent, 21-hour speech on the Senate floor opposing the White House-backed health care law.
The same company produced a wildly popular 2008 coloring book on President Barack Obama's inauguration.
