A 17-year-old gang member has been charged in the deaths of two others with gang ties in Houston.
Court records show that Noe Armando Artiga was charged with murder Saturday in the June 1 death of Anayanci Roche and the May 5 killing of Jonathan Hernandez.
Artiga was in jail without bond. An attorney for him was not listed in jail records.
Artiga, a juvenile when the shootings occurred, was certified on Thursday to stand trial as an adult.
The Houston Chronicle reports that 17-year-old Roche was an MS-13 gang associate who wanted out.
Artiga allegedly lured her to a secluded spot where an unnamed defendant shot her three times.
Twenty-four-year-old Hernandez was a member of a rival gang killed in a drive-by shooting that Artiga allegedly confessed to.
