Texas A&M Intercollegiate Rodeo Held at Brazos County Expo

The Texas A&M Rodeo club is sponsoring their Intercollegiate Rodeo Friday, March 21st and Saturday, March 22nd. The Rodeo will be held at the Brazos County Expo Complex on Leonard Road in Bryan, and performances start at 7 p.m.

Over 15 colleges from the southern region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) will be at the Rodeo, competing in all the favorite rodeo events.

Two sections of Bull Riding will take place Friday night with the Championship Round Saturday night. Parson's Calvary will lead the Grand Entry each night. Pro-Rodeo Announcer T.C. Long will be in the arena making sure attendees don't miss any part of the rodeo. Funnyman/ Barrelman Coty Cooper will also be entertaining the crowd.

This is one of ten qualifying rodeos that determine who goes to the College National Finals in Casper, Wyoming in June of 2014. The Rodeo is brought to you by KBTX Media and CW8 Aggieland; Thomas Moore Feed & Supply; Lithia Chrysler, Jeep & Dodge; Blue Bell Creameries; Schiller Ranch; KTEX 106; and the Texas A&M Rodeo Club.

Advanced tickets are available at Cavenders for $8 or $10 at the gate. Kindergarten to College students get in for $7 with a student ID, and kids aged three and under get in free.
