COLLEGE STATION, TX -- Texas A&M fans are invited to tune in on Wednesday from 7-10 a.m. as 12th Man Productions broadcasts a special three-hour live television show on National Signing Day from the Bright Football Complex.
Texas A&M and its athletics multimedia rights holder, Learfield Sports, have partnered KBTX Media and FOX Sports Southwest to provide live coverage of National Signing Day, which is annually the date for high school seniors to ink their letter of intent to their college of choice. Texas A&M’s National Signing Day Show will provide full coverage of signees airing from 7-10 a.m. live on the CW-8 Aggieland (Suddenlink Ch. 8 and 711 in HD and over the air on Ch. 3.2) along with FOX Sports Southwest (Suddenlink Ch. 25 and 750 in HD) and the school’s official website, aggieathletics.com.
Fans of Texas A&M will receive up-to-the-second notices of signees as they are confirmed in the Bright Football Complex. Host Will Johnson will be joined by Head Coach Kevin Sumlin, along with his coaching staff, who will provide perspective on the 2013 Recruiting Class. Matt Simon, co-host of Studio 12, will also break down signing day for Aggie soccer and Aggie track with coaches G Guerrieri and Pat Henry.
Texas A&M finished the regular season with an 11-2 record and a final No. 5 national ranking. Numerous awards were bestowed on the Aggie team, including SEC Coach of the Year honors for Kevin Sumlin, the Outland Trophy award for Luke Joeckel, and the Heisman Trophy for quarterback Johnny Manziel.
The Wednesday morning show will begin as letters can officially be received confirming a high school player’s intent, and will feature video and biographical background information on each recruit of the 2013 class.
Texas A&M will open the 2013 football season on Saturday, Aug. 31, playing host to the Rice Owls at Kyle Field.
