It's a chance to see some of the most talented drum lines and color guards in the state.
The Texas Color Guard Circuit championships get underway at Reed Arena on the Texas A&M University campus on Saturday and it's bringing in teams from all over Texas.
As News 3's Shane McAuliffe found out, that includes some homegrown talent.
At Bryan High School, the color guard is getting ready for its biggest competition of the year and they're not going to have to travel far to get there.
"It's bigger and better and the guards are going to be excited to be there," said junior Jessie Trejo.
Starting Saturday morning over 2,000 performers from across the state will converge on the A&M campus for the Texas Color Guard Circuit championships.
"For all the practice we've done and to go out there to show them how we've done, it's very nerve wracking," said Rebecca Shell.
Shell is a senior on the team who's not as scared as you think.
"It's not the scary nerve wracking, it's the happy, good nerve wracking," said Shell.
"We want to be better than we were the week before," said Trejo.
Trejo is the captain of the team and excited to welcome everyone to Bryan/College Station.
"I'm so excited everyone is coming to Bryan (College Station) because hopefully they'll love it and say, oh my gosh, this is so cool," said Trejo.
But being able to spend time together as friends is what matters most to these dancers.
"You learn so much in the friendships. They are like nothing else," said Shell.
The two day competition starts Saturday morning and will go till 11:00 p.m. A two day pass will cost you $25.
A&M Consolidated High School will also perform at the championships on Saturday and we've got more information about the competition linked down below.
