Three Arrested, Charged with Murder in Magnolia Shooting Death

Capital murder charges have been filed against three people accused of shooting and killing a man near Magnolia.

Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office say 20-year-old's Justin Story, Mikhail Drake, and David Williams were taken in to custody this week and charged in the shooting death of 37-year-old Alfredo "Freddy" Medina. That shooting took place at Medina's home in the 24000 block of Zahn Road just after 9 Sunday night.

Authorities say the murder occurred during a robbery, and that the victim had been taken by a neighbor in a private automobile seeking medical aid and stopped at the Rosehill Fire Station just a few miles away on FM 2920 in Harris County where Medina died. Investigators say Medina had appeared to have been shot in the chest with a shotgun.

Medina's body was taken to the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
