*UPDATE* Two Injured in Early Morning Crash

BRYAN, TX At least two people were injured in a crash early Tuesday morning between a motorcycle and car in Brazos County.

According to police, Angela Shafer, the passenger on the motorcycle, is listed in critical condition with head injuries at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.

Both Shafer and the driver were thrown from the motorcycle, and it has been reported that neither were wearing helmets.

The driver of the motorcycle recevied minor injuries, and the driver of the car was not injured.

The wreck happened on Highway 30 near Pate Road.

Traffic had to be detoured while crews cleaned up the scene.

Police believe alcohol may have been involved, but the investigation is ongoing.
