Two Men Arrested in Bryan Drug Bust, Estimated $37K of Narcotics Confiscated

BRYAN - Two related men were arrested Tuesday during a simultaneous drug bust at two different locations in Bryan that ended in a drug seizure valued at more than $37,000.

The searches happened in the 4600 block of Northwood and the 1300 block of North Parker. Investigators say they found methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana - as well as a stolen gun. Three customized cars were also seized, as police say they believe the vehicles were bought with drug money.

Roy Arevalo Jr., 17, and Roy Arevalo Sr., 40 both remain in jail as of late Wednesday night held on bond.

Of the items recovered, police listed the following:

Approximately 300 grams of Methamphetamine
Approximately 112 grams of Cocaine
Approximately 5 grams of Crack Cocaine
Approximately 50 grams of Marijuana

Investigators say the approximate street value of the recovered items is $37,000. Police also say there could be additional arrests in the future.
