Two-Year-Old Hit By Suburban At Local Grocery Store

A two-year-old is being treated after police say she was hit by a car at a local grocery store.

Investigators say around 10:55 Saturday morning, they responded to the accident at the Kroger off Longmire Drive and Rock Prairie Road in College Station.

Witnesses told police the little girl ran in front of a Chevy Suburban in the parking lot. The driver of the Suburban, a 39-year-old College Station resident, accidentally struck the girl.

The little girl was taken to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston where she is in stabile condition.
