United Solutions and Veritas Receive Community Impact Award

Two local businesses have been honored by the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce with a 2012 Community Impact Award.

United Solutions and Veritas Wine and Bistro were recognized during a luncheon Tuesday in Bryan.

United Solutions, founded in 1997 by owners Kris Posten, Ailene Ueckert and Beth Williamson, has provided excellent medical billing services for over 100 healthcare providers, as well as credentialing and scanning services.

Veritas Wine and Bistro, opened in 2007 by Chef Tai Lee, offers a modern, unique menu and setting. Lee has recently expanded his business with an award winning Food Truck.

The Community Impact Award program was started in 2003 as a joint effort between the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce and Texas A&M University's HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) Program. The goal of the award is to recognize minority business owners who have made a significant impact in our community.

To be eligible, businesses must: 1. be a member of the B/CS Chamber of Commerce 2. meet HUB Certification requirements of at least 51% minority ownership 3. have been in business for a minimum of five years

Daniel Hernandez Hernandez Law Firm
