Washington County Police Arrest Suspect in Stolen Electronics Case

According to Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak, on March 13, 2014, Sheriff’s Sergeants Clay Bosse and Mark Whidden traveled to State Highway 6 in Robertson County to locate and arrest 28 year old Bryan resident Cherlyn Richardson on a Washington County arrest warrant. The arrest resulted from an investigation related to a theft complaint made by a resident on Christmas Road in Washington County in which electronics were stolen.

The investigation indicated the stolen items were pawned in Bryan and store security cameras provided the identity of the suspect as she pawned the stolen property. A warrant for Theft was issued for the arrest of Cherlyn Dyan Richardson with bond being set at $5,000.

Investigators located Richardson at a residence in Robertson County and after the arrest Investigators learned Richardson had an outstanding Theft warrant in College Station. Richardson was arrested on both outstanding warrants and transported to the Washington County jail. Richardson posted bond on March 14, 2014 and was released.
