Rain chance will remain in place through mid-morning to midday Friday.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas The windy weather picked up a portable construction sign on Highway 6 Friday night causing a minor accident.
College Station Police say no one was injured when a portable construction sign got pushed by the wind into the lanes of Northbound Highway 6 just south of Rock Prairie Road near the Aggieland Fitness Dome.
Police say the initial vehicle stopped to avoid the sign and then it landed on the windshield of another.
Fortunately all the vehicles were still drivable and a police report was not filed.
Police were able to move the sign out of the road.
