The winter storm to our north prompted the cancellation of an arrival and departure flight from Easterwood Airport.
Airport management says the airline makes the decision to cancel a flight, not the airport.
"Depending on the type of aircraft and depending of the airline they have their restrictions and we have to notify them if there's patchy ice, if there's total coverage with ice. We notify the airlines of that and they make those decisions," said John Happ, Director of Easterwood Airport.
By noon Tuesday, flights were back on schedule.
