Shooting in Madison County Critically Injures Woman

Madison County - Officials in Madison County are on the scene of a shooting that's left one woman critically injured.

It happened at a home in the 16000 block of Highway 21, near North Zulch.

According to Madison County Sheriff Travis Neely, the 56-year-old woman was rushed to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan with life-threatening injuries.

At this time, police are not looking for suspects.

Police have not released the name of the woman who was shot.
