COLLEGE STATION Witnesses say she was swerving all over the road. Police found her asleep behind the wheel.

Pamela Key Paceley, 55, of College Station, is facing DWI charges after police say she was drunk behind the wheel of her car Wednesday afternoon. Officers found her in the driver's seat of a car that hit a tree outside a home in the 800 block of Navarro. A witness called police after seeing her swerving down Welsh Avenue.

Paceley was extremely disoriented, handing officers her entire purse when asked for her ID. According to the arrest report, she couldn't tell officers where she was coming from, or get out of the car. When officers finally did get her out, she had trouble standing and would sway back and forth.

This charge isn't the first DWI for Paceley. She was convicted of Driving While Intoxicated in Burleson County in 1997 and in Brazos County in 2011. She's in jail under $10,000 bond.
