BRYAN Jennifer Louise Westbrook, 32, of College Station, Texas was sentenced to 9 years in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for Credit Card Abuse today after pleading guilty in November of 2012. The case was set for a punishment hearing before Judge Travis Bryan, III, however, a plea agreement was reached prior to the hearing.
Westbrook faced 10 years in prison on the charge, normally a State Jail Felony, which was enhanced to a third degree due to prior felony convictions. Westbrook has prior convictions for theft, forgery, credit card abuse, and fraudulent use of identifying information from Brazos, Madison, Matagorda, Harris, and Brazoria counties.
