A woman driving on Highway 75 between Conroe and Willis led several law enforcement agencies on a car chase just before 1:00 Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say after failing to remain in one lane, the woman refused to stop after police flashed their sirens.
They say the woman stopped at a light near New Waverly, where the Walker County officers followed along in the pursuit.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Officers joined in once the woman reached Park Road 40 in Huntsville.
The chase continued into Huntsville where officers say they attempted to spike the rear ties of her vehicle but were unsuccessful.
Several more units were called in and eventually trapped her near the Sam Houston State University campus.
A Montgomery County Deputy had to break the glass of her window to prevent her from driving off again.
Authorities say she was transported to Huntsville Hospital for a mental evaluation due to her unresponsiveness.
The Deputy suffered minor cuts to his hand from the glass.
