Woman Tries Getting Into Bryan PD, Admits to Being on Meth

BRYAN A Bryan woman didn't have to go far before being arrested Wednesday morning. She was outside the Bryan Police Department.

28-year-old Jennifer Lynn Landon showed up at the department around eight Wednesday morning and tried to go through a secure door. According to the arrest report, officers said she was disoriented and kept asking who the officers were. Landon told police that her car was dead, but officers found her car running in the parking lot.

When officers asked for her driver's license, she reportedly started to back away from them. The arrest report says Landon told police she didn't have to show her license. When officers insisted she started to run away and scream that officers were trying to get her. It took two officers to arrest her. After being detained, Landon reportedly scratched at her handcuffs and screamed that the officers were trying to hurt her.

Landon later admitted to paramedics that she was on meth. She's being charged with Evading Arrest. Landon also has 4 active warrants from Bryan PD for Speeding (two warrants), No Driver's License, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility. She's being held on $4,000 bond.
