A distribution and development company out of downtown Bryan is hoping to bring new jobs to the Brazos Valley.
Woodbolt International is the parent company of Cellucor, a sports nutrition brand in the fitness world. The company sells the products to 10,000 retailers such as GNC.
Luke Hubbard, VP of Business and Development says that at this time all the details are being withheld.
The company is in negotiations with the Bryan Commerce and Development board to buy eight acres of land. The new area is slated to be about 90,000 square feet in the biomedical corridor near Traditions Private Golf & Country club in Bryan.
"We're planning probably in the next 12 to 15 months to be able to kind of cut our ribbon and move in. We're looking to expanding out to about 300 different employees so being at 100 right now there's a lot of room for growth, a lot of opportunity for future Aggies to have a great place to work, " said Luke Hubbard.
The new project will include office space, a warehouse, a gym and a pond along with an outside biking area.
The Bryan Commerce and Development board will meet with Woodbolt on Tuesday October 23 to make a decision about purchasing land for the expansion.
