Updated: 6:11 AM WACO, Texas (AP) - Three people died Sunday when a small airplane crashed near the Waco Regional Airport. A Department of Public Safety spokesman says the twin-engine Cessna 310 crashed in a field a half mile north of the airport.

They are Timothy Kramer of College Station and Deborah Giant of Bryan. The single-engine Cessna 210 crashed about 6 p.m., Saturday, during an approach to Lee Airport outside of Annapolis.

Updated: 10:30 PM The pounds of food and dollar donations have been counted from the KBTX Food For Families Food Drive. More than $51,000 and 220,000 pounds of food were given Thursday to the Brazos Valley Food Bank. Friday, food bank volunteers and staff started sorting the donations.
