Accident Closes I-45 For Eight Hours

Updated: 02/01/2006 - Traffic along I-45 in Madison County is finally moving after being closed for more than 8 hours. An overturned 18 wheeler spilled a load of a dangerous chemical. Not only was the interstate closed in both directions, nearby homes had to be evacuated. It happened just south of Madisonville.
