Sam Houston State University
SHSU and The University Center in The Woodlands will begin classes at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
Texas A&M University
Due to deteriorating weather conditions, university officials have made the following announcements:
For the safety of our students, faculty and staff, Texas A&M University will open Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. due to anticipated hazardous driving conditions resulting from the wintry weather in the local area. This provision doesn’t apply to emergency personnel or others considered essential by their supervisors.
Texas A&M Health Science Center - Classes in Round Rock, Temple and College Station will start at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
K-12 and Lower Education
Anderson-Shiro CISD will delay the start of school on Wednesday, February 24th, by 2 hours, to ensure the travel safety of our students and faculty. The school day for elementary and secondary students will begin at 10:00 am. Faculty and staff should report at 9:30. Buses will run 2 hours later than normal.

The Huntsville Independent School District has decided to delay the start of school until 10 AM on Wednesday due to possible Winter conditions. All buses will be running by 8 AM.
