The rain is causing problems across our area.

Three people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries after a rollover accident at Highway 47 near Villa Maria in Bryan.

And in Navasota, The Navasota Examiner is reporting street closures due to flooding. The following are being closed by the city: Business 6 intersections off La Salle Street, Farquhar Street, and McAlpine.

City employees are attempting to close roads in knee-high water as rains continue.

Motorists are advised to to stay off the Navasota roadways.

In Walker County the same line of thunderstorms caused flooding in and around Huntsville.

Training was the cause for the flooding. In other words storms extending over a long line and staying put dumping larger amounts of rain.

Both cities received almost 2inches of rain in a short period of time.

We have added pictures below of the flooding.
