The first closure will be the westbound FM 60 exit ramp to FM 2154. The second and third closure will be the FM 2154 exit ramps to eastbound and westbound FM 60. The final closure will be the outside lane of westbound FM 60 between Old Main and FM 2154. By closing these sections of road, the contractor can install concrete pavement for all remaining ramps for an improved connection between FM 60 and FM 2154. Detours will be in place for FM 60 traffic wanting to get to FM 2154 and vice versa.
The ramps are expected to reopen by January 16, 2012, before the start of classes on the Texas A&M campus.
These closures are part of the $3.7 million dollar FM 60 Project contracted to Knife River.
