Local Sigma Nu fraternity ceases activities following death inside house

College Station police say its working with the District Attorney's Office to determine if more people will be facing charges related to drugs found inside the fraternity house.

A former Bryan police officer’s past is the reason he won’t be signing on with a Brazos County constable’s office. It happened as a result of a last-minute agenda switch during a commissioners court hearing Tuesday morning.

Walker County Emergency Management Coordinator Butch Davis verified the case was travel-related and contracted outside Walker County.

Construction plans have been approved to replace fire station number 2.
