Almost twice as many women die from lung cancer as from breast cancer; this has to do with smoking. More women are smoking these days then they use to twenty years ago. If you look at the death rate from different types of cancer in a woman, the death rate had declined, whereas it has increased from lung cancer.

There is not a good screening test for lung cancer. The only thing we can do at this time is create awareness that smoking is especially bad for women. An increasing number of women are dying from smoking related lung cancer.
