Partnerships for the Future Helps Transitioning Special Needs Students

Transitioning students with special needs from the world of school to post-secondary life will be the focus of Partnerships for the Future from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan 29 at the Brazos Center. Speakers will present on guardianship and power of attorney questions, Medicaid Waiver, SSI and potential sources of agency supports.

This free transition fair is being sponsored by the Special Education Departments at College Station and Bryan school districts as well as the Family Support Network, Brazos Valley MHMR and DARS: Department of Assistive & Rehabilitation Services.

Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. with speakers scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. For more information or to make a reservation, contact Leslie Ross, lesross@bryanisd.org or Allison Hollis at ahollis@csisd.org
