Mr. Rich Caldwell, 34, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012, in a tragic car accident. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, at Covenant Family Church in College Station with the Rev. Eric Patrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Carlos. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.





Rich was born May 9, 1977, in Metairie, LA, the son of Richard Denton Caldwell and Cynthia Ann Brunies. He married Katy Allen on December 29, 2007, in Navasota. He was currently a sound engineer for Wade Bowen and had been with Flyleaf for the past seven years. Rich also worked for Roger Creager, Bart Crow, Pushmonkey, Crosses, and Seether. He was also a longtime employee of Backstage Sound and Lighting.





He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elaine Brunies and Gordon Caldwell.





Rich is survived by his wife, Katy; son, Kirby; parents, Rick and Karen Caldwell of Spring, and Cindy and Ric Rogers of Gulfport, Miss.; sister, Sandy Caldwell of Conroe; grandparents, June Caldwell of Kenner, La., and Merritt Brunies of Biloxi, Miss.; brother-in-law, Clay Allen of Anderson; step-sisters, Shannon Ridley of Neguanee, Mich., Kira Fischer of Crosby, Erin Miller of Crosby, and Janessa Kuhl of Pinetop-Lakeside, Ariz.
