Gloria (Olson) Jordan

April 13, 1938 – April 20, 2012




Gloria (Olson) Jordan, 74, of College Station, passed away peacefully from this life on Friday, April 13, 2012 in Bryan. Graveside Services are set for 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, in the College Station City Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Gierisch III officiating.





Gloria was born April 13, 1938, in Thief River, Minnesota to Rudolph and Lillian (Olsen) Olson. Gloria and her husband ran a painting business, which she took over when her husband passed away. She was a wonderful cook and the heart of her family. Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.





She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Wallace (Red) Jordan; a daughter, Miranda Jane Dockery; three sisters and two brothers.





She is survived by her son, Mark and wife Tricia Jordan; five daughters, Crystal and husband Larry Faust, Julie Solis, Gay and the late Rev. Sam Manning, Joy and Harry Benaniti, Lori Jordan and Samuel Alvarado; 25 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.





All floral contributions may be sent to the Funeral Home prior to services.
