Stanley Frank Krobot, 75, of Caldwell, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at Hospice Brazos Valley in Bryan. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at First United Methodist Church in Caldwell, with Rev. Dr. Todd Jordan officiating. Interment will be in Caldwell Masonic Cemetery with military honors under the auspices of VFW Post 4458. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 23, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Stan was born January 16, 1937, in Alief, to Frank Joseph and Lydia Tracy (Dockal) Krobot. He was a retired motorcycle dealer, rancher and a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
He attended First United Methodist Church and was a member of VFW Post 4458 where he served as a member of the honor guard. He enjoyed ranching, golf, playing cards, dominoes, and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Krobot of Caldwell; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Erica Krobot of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters and a brothers-in-law, Martha and Joe Don Brymer of Caldwell and Rose Lys of Bryan; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley or First United Methodist Church of Caldwell.
