Silvia Mosqueda, 51, of Pecos, Texas formerly of Bryan passed away peacefully Thursday, June 7, 2012 at her residence.





Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, in the Santa Teresa's Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 8, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.





Silvia was born February 9, 1961 in Ira Puato, Guanajuato Mexico to Antonio Sr. and Elvira (Mata) Mosqueda. She loved cooking, spending time with her family and enjoyed dancing.





She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jesus and Adela Mosqueda; and maternal grandparents, Sixtos and Maria Mata.





Survivors include her husband, Mario Alvarado; her parents, Antonio Sr. and Elvira (Mata) Mosqueda; three sons, Mario Alvarado Jr., Xavier Uribes, and Jonathan Uribes; a daughter, Elizabeth and husband Michael Martinez; three brothers, Antonio Jr. and wife Altair Mosqueda, Ignacio Mosqueda and wife Norma Munoz, and Jamie and wife Stephanie Mosqueda; four sisters Martina and husband Gus Elizondo, Margaret and husband Manuel Bustos, Maria Medrano, and Linda Matos; 7 grandchildren Mario Alvarado III, Madeline Alvarado, Dillon Alvarado, Alysa Martinez, Andrew Martinez, Kyleigh Uribes, and Johnathan Uribes; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
