Homer Duard Rosenbaum

May 20, 1937 - June 8, 2012




Homer Duard Rosenbaum, 75, of Flower Mound, Texas passed away June 8, 2012. He was born May 20, 1937 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Howard and Otha Rosenbaum. He married Dodie Rodgers on August 2, 1958 in Abilene, Texas. Homer was an Abilene High School and Texas Tech football player in the 1950's. Having worked in the engineering and construction industry over 60 years it is no clearer that he would have touched many lives in the process. He is survived by his wife Dodie; daughter, Lori Olechna; son, Barrick Rosenbaum; brother, Lloyd Rosenbaum; sister, Pat Rowlan; five grandchildren; numerous extended family and many, many friends. Private services were held by the family June 13, 2012.







Homer's passion was based on a simple principal of how he could help others. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, please make donations in honor of Homer Rosenbaum to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, TX 75219 or via website www.tsrhc.org .
