Tania Kay Buvinghausen

A memorial service for Tania Kay Buvinghausen, 52, of Caldwell, is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Ms. Buvinghausen passed away at her home in Caldwell, July 17, 2012.




Tania was born March 15, 1960 in Houston, Texas. She is the daughter of Allen W. Buvinghausen and Shirley (Leddy) Abbott.




Tania attended Southwest Texas State University and was a member of the Southwest Texas State Strutters. She worked as a credit manager for the Pro-Build Construction Company. She enjoyed making jewelry and living life to the fullest.




She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Leddy; one uncle and one aunt.




Tania is survived by her parents, her grandfather, H. H. "Bud" Leddy of Caldwell; her brother, David Buvinghausen of Houston; and one great-aunt and uncle, and several cousins.




Memorial may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 502 W. 26th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803.




Arrangements are under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home of Caldwell.
