Donna Lee Ruse

January 11, 1939 – July 25, 2012




Donna Lee Ruse, 73, of College Station, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at her residence. A memorial service will be planned for a future date. Arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory in Bryan.




Donna was the daughter of Lisle Pratt Jr. and Velma Devaney. She was born January 11, 1939 in Shelton, Washington. She has been a resident of College Station for five years, after moving from Rockport, Texas.




She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Ruse; son, William Tucker; and sister, Frances Olsen.




Survivors include her daughter, Ann Shafer and husband Mark, of College Station; son, Rick Grover and wife Gabi, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; grandchildren, Quinn, Preston, and Reagan Shafer, Brandi Granger, Julie Grover; great grandchildren, Sam and Sophie Granger; and special friends, Alice Soltis and Alvina Ramon.
