Dr. Terry Lee Kohutek, 60, of College Station, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012, at College Station Medical Center. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 6, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery of College Station - The Aggie Field of Honor.
Terry was born November 30, 1951 in San Antonio to Joe Allen Kohutek and Lenora DeDear Kohutek. He was a graduate of Texas A&M University as well as professor of Civil Engineering for over 27 years. He was a highly regarded teacher and had won several distinguished teaching awards and honors. He was a loving husband, uncle, friend and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Elmer F. Mischer; and brother-in-law, J. Dan Bohannan.
Survivors include his wife, Terrye Kohutek of College Station; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley Bohannan of Dallas, Bonnie and Jud Cannon of Monett, MO, Doug and Ann Mischer, Don and Suzan Mischer; andnumerous nieces and nephews.
